      It is also with pleasure that we include a description of our extensive civil engineering design co-ordination and D.S.R. experience. This following portfolio illustrates some of the major projects that we have worked on and are selected from our forty-five years of international and UK experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

      Kilpedder Interchange, Design and Build, N11 Ireland<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Appointed as a Senior Consultant for Moylans on the design and build highway project in Ireland. The project had run into difficulties with the late delivery of design drawings. Trouble shooted the N11 Kilpedder interchange project and fast tracked the design. The project involved three design offices in the UK and the DandB Irish contractor John Sisk. The project required the construction of a fixed end 25m span reinforced concrete bridge deck with heavy reinforcement, a 38m span steel footbridge and several top down CFA piled retaining walls. Held meetings with the Irish contractor on site and the Designers in the UK, removed the log jams and successfully put the contract back on track.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

      British Waterways \u2013 Knypersely Reservoir<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Acted as the British Waterways Client representative on a contract to refurbish the Knypersley reservoir. The reservoir was designed by Thomas Telford in 1836 and had a large stone masonry spillway. The spillway had a minor seepage problem and was pressure grouted by a Scottish contractor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

      Taiwan High Speed Rail<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Acted as the International Design and Technical Coordinator for Hyder Consulting UK, based in Taiwan, for the 40kms of the Taiwan High Speed rail project. This involved carrying out design reviews submitted from three international and two Taiwanese consultants. The design packages were for earthworks, drainage structures, viaducts and tunnels. As the design was specified to comply with the resilience to earthquakes and typhoon storms the structures required heavy reinforced concrete piling and tight construction tolerances.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
