Acted as the Project Manager for the Manchester Ship Canal refurbishment of the 200 tonne Eastham lock gates. The upper pair of the Eastham lock gates was changed within a 16-hour shut down of the ship canal. Acted as the project and design engineer for the refurbishment of the 400 tonne Gladston lock gates. Other works included the changing of the lock gate pintle with the aid of divers (Ian Hughes) and a Bam Nuttall limpet dam.<\/p>\n<p>The maritime work was for the client Peel Ports and extended to the refurbishment of the 2,400 tonne Langton caissons. Acted as the Project Manager\/Engineer for the refit of caisson no.2.
