The purpose of Bridge Scour Management limited is to provide a bridge scour risk assessment package to all bridge owners so that they can prioritise and plan resilience work to protect their infrastructure. The assessment package is fully in accordance with the new D.M.R.B. CS469 code that came into effect in April 2024. The level 1 and Level 2 scour risk assessments highlight any shortcomings of the bridge to cater for the storm flows derived from a 0.5% AEP, 1:200 return period storm. The Level 2 assessment is very comprehensive and includes the allowance for climate change and sea level rise, in accordance with the four National Application Annexes, N.A.A. Recommendations for scour protection or for providing additional waterway area will be provided.
The previous company, Praeparatus Ltd., used the Latin which translates to “Be Prepared” with the sub-title – “For Climate Change.”

Bridge Scour Management to CS469 Limited can also offer an experienced Project Manager for major civil engineering works and can act as the named Project Manager for NEC 3rd and 4th edition contracts.
